Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the               
House consider the Senate message (page 3236) on the following at              
this time:                                                                     
                                                                               
CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 17(RES)                                                 
"An Act establishing the Department of Natural Resources as the               
platting authority in certain areas of the state; relating to                  
subdivisions and dedications; and providing for an effective date."

SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 17(RES)

There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                   
                                                                               
Representative Porter moved that the House concur in the Senate                
amendment to CSHB 17(RES), thus adopting SCS CSHB 17(RES),                     
and recommended that the members vote yes.                                     
                                                                               
The question being:  "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment

call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the             
effective date clause.  There being no objection, it was so ordered.

SCS CSHB 17(RES) was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
